UCSD Music | Computer Music [assistant teaching professor]

These are class projects throughout the Fall 2019 semester at UCSD for Electronic Music Production (173) & Audio Recording Techniques (174).

I felt compelled to compile some of my favorites from my students, who truly created some beautiful magic.

For the Electronic Music production class (MUS173), Ableton was the platform, focusing on sound design and sampling techniques. They learned Wavetables, Operator, Simpler, creative sample choping and basic mixing.

For the Audio Recording Techniques (MUS174), we focused on recording instruments in the studio using mic techniques, room reflections, live instruments, basic mixing and Ableton was our platform as well.

Was an absolute pleasure to watch their progress and hear these beautiful pieces of music.

Keep in mind these are all demos from 1 semester.
